BOBW Elite 2026 Tryouts

BOBW Elite teams are formed through tryouts. Players are not guaranteed a spot on a team.
We are looking for committed players who want to train at a high level, compete hard, and represent the BOBW Elite Family with pride.

Season Overview
Tryouts for the 2026 season will be held in mid-December, with practices beginning in January.
Teams compete through the spring and summer, with additional opportunities for returning players in the fall.

Each team receives:​

• Up to 40 total practices per team for the season

• Several free group Elite Skills Jam Clinics throughout the year

• 10 tournaments or competitions per season, all within 90 minutes of Mooresville. ( 2 of the events will be overnight tourneys)

• Practices are held in the Mooresville and Lake Norman area.

Cost and Requirements:

• Uniform Package:

  • New Players: $190

  • Returning Players: $75 (home uniform only)

  • A check should be brought to tryouts.

  • If a player is not selected or declines a roster spot, the check will be voided and shredded (or mailed back upon request).

• Season Fees: $950

  • Covers tournament entries, coaching, practices, court rentals, and administrative costs.

• Required Documents:

  • Copy of birth certificate

  • Most recent report card or progress report

 

                                                        Tryout Details:
No spectators are permitted during tryouts.
Parents should check in their player with all required paperwork and return promptly at the end of the session.
All players must pre-register to attend tryouts.

Tryout Format:
Tryouts will take place over two days.

​

• Day 1: Skill and Athletic Evaluation
  Players will go through drills and assessments focused on ball handling, shooting, defense, effort, and coachability.

• Day 2: Team Concepts and Game Play
  Players will demonstrate communication, teamwork, and competitiveness in live drills and scrimmages.

                                                Player Expectations:
BOBW Elite is for players who are serious about improving their skills and committed to their teams.
We expect players to attend practices and games consistently, give full effort, and continue skill work at home on non-practice days.
BOBW provides home workouts and resources to support player development throughout the year.
